moving things, well that is the hollywood amp up. not that its impossible but because of the non-belief dynamic of the popular culture its not going to work well. especially if your trying to prove it. the wand, is a symbol of man, and the symbol of fire. wood burns. the best wand is of good wood, found on the ground, (you'd anger a tree needlessly to break a branch) and its length should measure the distance from your elbow to the tip of your fingers. yes it is a director of magickal energy. i believe because of the brain hemisphere make up that to project energy best it should be held in the right hand. to recieve energy through it hold it in the left hand. handedness in this i dont think matters because the left brain is still the active outer reaching brain and the right brain is the inner passive recieving brain. and because of the inverse control therefor the right hand projects energy best and the left hand recieves it best.
