my dryer is starting to make a noise every 5 rotations?

its like a "screech!" sound. I don't want to pay someone $100 bucks to fix this. I would love to open it up, and change the belt? or what ever you guys think it is. please help. It's a stackable unit.

You can change the belt and while you are at it lib the rollers that guide the drum.

My vote is the belt..and if so you dont have long...2nd choice is something inthe pulley or pully needs grease or new bearings

stack units can be tricky.it sounds like the belt or bearings may be going.if you DIY go carefully.
