The election is over. Get over it!! But just in case you are serious:

I have heard nothing to that effect, and it is evening in most Muslim countries. And why should they? Most Democrats are saying change the course, not cut & run. It does NOT mean the same thing. The way the administration made changes matter as much as the actual act of war. The fact that the US Mimlitary command has demanded the resignation of Donald Rumsfeld does not mean they want to offer unconditional surrender, just a strategy that makes sense. I think we all want a policy that makes sense. The current one is not working, obviously.

I, for one, am very angry the Administratoin lied about the reasons for going to war in Iraq. As I have said before, It was our duty to remove Saddam from power since out governments had supported his evil regime in the name of "National Security". And as in Afghanistan, it was also our duty to enable the Irraqis to rebuild the contry & let it select its own democratic political future.

That said, it is the job of the UN to provide security until both governments can support themselves. They are not doing it, & probably never will. We have been left to provide that security by default It is NOT our job to meddle in their affairs or to make Halliburton rich at the expense of Iraq, which is current policy. The Iraqis had already proven themselves capable of rebuilding the country in the early 90s, provided the received the money to do it.

To sum up, The answer is not to cut & run & leave behind what is almost certain to become a Shiite religious state with constant civil war. It also is not in the current policies in place now. I certainly hope a middle ground that works will be found.

They recognize the democrats received't help re arm the civilians of iraq. hence the terroriss can proceed to make victems of everyoen and anybody. second, the terrorists knwo that the democrats will pull out without arming the civilians. this potential the terrorists can kill 1000's of 1000's of civilians without battling decrease back! its a nightmare.

Careful with your prediction! Many of the gains made by the Dems were from Conservative Dems such as Joe Lieberman. Even if the VA seat falls to a Dem, Joe is likely to rally other conservative Dems in support of the war against terrorism. I think this may be a much needed booster for the war... the vote indicates that we want change but by clinging to the conservative values albeit Dems, we're saying that change should not be a full scale retreat that hands over the victory to terrorists.

This is the most ludicrous thing I've heard so far. They can care less about who wins. They will still try and do what they have always done all along, no matter who is in office.

Bow out with dignity and try and muster up some grace, this is getting old.

No, but I hear Osama's getting scared. Maybe now someone'll actually go after him, rather than considering him as "no longer a threat".

No, they don't have time for that, they are making plans for their next move and celebrate later when they have their victory!

What! They can care less, they have their own agenda, so instead of being hateful and posting stupid remarks, why not be gracious like this one Republican was and bow out gracefully.
