douche mean? I am from the UK and i recently heard some american friends of mine calling each other this along with douchebag. I have heard it many times but never actually found out what it meant. Can someone clear this up for me?

Um...a solution that cleans a woman's private areas, or the act of using that solution. Sold in feminine hygiene aisles.

A douche or douchebag is something that a women uses to wash herself out with. (Below, you know) If it is 2 guys saying this, they are probibly using as a friendly jesture, such as 2 buddies calling each other jerks or *****oles or something. Close friends do that sometimes.

Well, douching is a way of cleaning out your vagina. You can find douches at any pharmacy. Americans just turned the word into a derrogatory name meaning "jerk" or "a**hole", or as you Britians would say: "c*nt."

a douche generally means a feminine hygiene product, something that is used by a woman to clean her genital region.

I'm not sure why it has received such a negative connotation, since I'd want to spend as much time as possible as close to a woman's genitals as I could.
