I see a teen, struggling through her fears and dreams. Confused about a guy in her life. Trying to give control of her life over to God. Red hair falling around her face, piercing green eyes staring back, a small smile. A full heart for the guy she loves, as well as a heart that cries because she misses her friends. A soul that loves Jesus Christ. A girl standing proud because she lives in a free country without fear of war. :) That's what I see....

A face that looks like a cross between my own mother near the end of her life and her mother-in-law, near the end of her life. I'm not yet 60, but the face is very like my mother's last photo (I was on the west coast and she on the east coast, and after awhile, transportation was too expensive), edited by some of her own mother when I was young and her mother-in-law when I was young; my two grandmothers.
This is not amazing, because my parents were both Pennsylvania German, and actually distant cousins.

I see a strong woman that has endured many trials in her life. Someone who was bitten by a dog at age 1 1/2 and scarred her face. Though she was self conscious for awhile she overcame it. Someone who lost her mother at the age of 15,....still dealing with the loss.
Someone who has lost a sister to Hodgkin's disease,....whom she went to doctors with faithfully.
Someone who stands by sister with MS and MD and does everything possible to help her.
Someone who has 2 lovely beautiful children who love her very much and that she loves very much
Someone who got away from an abusive husband.
Someone who was a drug and alcohol addict as a teen,...but beat the odds and is drug and alcohol free now. :)
Someone who is ill,....only 34,...but afraid of doctors and is slowly fading in health.
Someone who helps a neighbor child that has brain cancer and feels good about doing so.
Someone who teaches their children that they can do anything they put their mind to.
Someone who has a gifted and talented child,......they inherited her genes.
Someone who was an honor student who now can't remember well.
Someone who lives in U.S.A the land of the free and proud to be.
That someone is me
I hope this is what you were looking for since I confessed so much LOL

It's dark here, so I can't see anything. Blast, I've just walked into the damned mirror.

A very lucky person to still be here,
I survived cancer, ectopic pregnancy, violent ex-husband.... But I'm alive and have 2 healthy children and a lifetime ahead to live with them.....I am grateful for that
