The Bahamas do not require a Visa for people from most countries - US Citizens, Canadian, British etc. From the US you don't need a passport either - just driver's license. The weather should be awesome. I find it a little chilly especially in the evenings but maybe that's because I live in the Turks & Caicos Islands (just south of the Bahamas) and find 80 to be the perfect temperature for me. I also find the water a little too chilly at that time of the year but people who have visited from other places think it is great. Have a good time!

Sometime in 2007 they will begin requiring passports to go there. (I think it's January but not entirely certain). You don't need a visa though just a passport.
