It's not really "easy" but when she wants to nurse, just comfort her instead...lots of hugs and kisses and cuddles. But don't offer her the breast at all. If she really is thirsty/hungry, offer her a cup instead of a bottle, with her favorite beverage at first, but then mix it up a bit once she gets the hang of it.

It's not going to be easy. Sorry!! I wish there was some magical way to snap your fingers and your baby dont want the breast anymore. Just give her lots and lots of love hold her a lot when she wants to nurse and then as she feels the love from you she might take the bottle! also they have bottles were the nipple is just like your breast. It might be a little more spendy. but it's worth it! I wish you the best of luck!! Dont give up!!

What I did was slowly introduce the bottle when hungry and let her nibble on my finger a little and then try the bottle she would be a little antsy so I would calm her and try agian! I did this every other feeding untill she finally got use to the bottle. A good bottle to use is the soothie bottle closes thing to a nipple.

i believe in a gentle way of weaning. first decide what nursing is her least favorite and when that time comes ( morning afternoon bedtime or midle of the night) distract her with toys or a game and soon she'll forget about it. Its going to take a long time but its less traumatizing for your baby. Sucking is very comforting for all babies especially nursing because shes with you her mommy her food source. i think if you just do it gently and slowly you both will be happier with the whole weaning experiance. good luck!

I transitioned my baby by purchasing different bottle nipples to figure out which one she preferred. Obviously your baby will make the transition when he/she is ready. If baby will take a juice bottle, great, that could be 1/2 the battle. Good luck.

as quickly as you provide your toddler something however the breast, you have started the weaning technique. ought to you settle directly to try this earlier 6 months, you're able to wean to formulation. it particularly is sweet for you and toddler in case you do it slowly, changing one feeding according to day for about 4-6 days, then a 2nd, and so on. At approximately 6 months, once you initiate feeding semi good (or good) foodstuff, you nevertheless breast (or bottle) feed first, then grant a small volume of foodstuff as quickly as an afternoon. Sips of water is often presented as we talk, with the toddler progressively gaining knowledge of a thank you to apply a cup. Many mothers wean quickly from the breast to the cup. At a pair of year previous (talk this which incorporate your baby's scientific professional) many toddlers are taking cow's milk via cup, and phasing out bottles and/or breast. Breastmilk or formulation must be nearly all of the toddler's nutrition for the 1st year, and that i encourage you to grant as lots breastmilk as long as conceivable on your wellness to boot as your toddler's.
