Both parties are not in touch with americans and I do not see any 'good' coming from this. I see the Democrats as gloating over the Republicians and mudding the waters so they might win more seats and the presidential election in 2008.

I honestly don't think they are going to make any major changes, they didn't have any real plans during champaning and are even now saying they are going to go along with the President on different important issues. I think they'll try to change some of the smaller issues which isn't a big deal. I think now they will get to share in the blame of a 'failed goverment'!

the question "better"?? Well, i hope there will be some common thought on how to make things better..but I doubt it. If its all about destroying Bush and his policies...that's a lot of negative energy that could be used to find a better way. Don't you think?

How can you do better when you don't have any plans on anything. they will do better with raising our taxes and taking more of our hard earned money out of our pockets. They are all talk but no action.

they can put Bush in his place and slow things to a halt for the things he's doing now.
we need them to work for us and take hold of the leader and vote him to sop what he's doing.
look at whats going now,do you like fighting a war that we can't win?
of course not,so maybe we can bring them home with the democrats in office.

There's not enough of a majority to enact large changes. The point is that they can slow down Bush.

They'll destroy us faster. It's all an illusion. The start will be with the moronic mininum wage, and then it will go downhill from there.
