well it would help if you could tell us what phone? I normally put ringtones on by either buying a whopping dvd full of them for my relevant phone on ebay for peanuts.... and then copy it to phone via bluetooth or infrared... again WHAT PHONE DO YOU USE? AND DOES IT TALK TO YOUR COMPUTER VIA CABLE ETC..
