Jupiter is nicknamed the "Failed Star" due to its size. Jupiter's diameter is 143,000 km which makes it the largest planet in the solar system. If you drove around Jupiter non-stop at 100km/hr, how many days will it take you? (HINT: use s=d/t To find the distance, find the circumference (3.14 X Diameter)) Don't forget to convert your answer to days!

You should do your own homework.

This is not hard. You know how far you have to go, and you know how fast you are going.

It would be hard to drive on Jupiter because it has no surface.

I seriously hope this isn't a question for "Astronomy", this has nothing to do with astronomy. This is a question for a physics class, or math possilbly, and a a very easy question since it tells you how to solve the problem right in the question. You have s (100km/hr). you are told how to find d(143,000km*3.14), t=d/s using simple algebra. plug in your numbers, you will get the answer in hours, divide by 24 and you have the number of days.

(3.14*143,000)/(100*24)= Get out the calculator...

Now remember to figure in the time it takes to sleep during that drive, and you're going to need to stop for groceries a few times because I doubt you're going to have enough allong for the whole trip... Thankfully you won't need to stop for fuel if you simply use a solar collector and electric motor as an alternative to fossil fuels...

You can't drive on Jupiter it has no hard surface it is a gas ball.

circumference of jupiter l = 3.1416*143000 = d

number of hours t ( in hours) = 3.1416*143000/100= 4492 hours

in days 4492/24 = 187.18 days
