The more everyone knows about sex, the better.
First off, knowledge of diseases is immensely important. Not only does information about protection, diagnosis, and treatment help stop the spread, but it stops silly fears that end up in discrimination (like people who won't touch HIV-positive individuals). We can stop myths like AIDS being a 'gay only' disease, too.
Secondly, we can stop unwanted pregnancies and unncessary abortions. Abortions are (individually and governmentally) costly and can create physical and emotional/psychological problems for the women who undergo them. Unwanted pregnancies are of course bad- children should grow up in households that want them and are prepared/equipped to raise them. Not to mention that there already so many children waiting to be adopted and already enough overpopulation as it is. Teaching about pregnancy, anti-contraceptive measures, and myths (like you can't get pregnant if you have sex in a swimming pool, standing up, whatever) is of the utmost importance.
Third, it liberates people and allows them to make their own choices. For example, there are so many myths floating around that people buy into- for a while, and maybe still, guys were telling girls that ingesting semen would make their breasts get bigger- and the girls would correspondingly perform oral sex hoping for this. There are a million other myths that continue to make people react in ways they usually wouldn't, and the more information they have, the more informed they can be.
Fourth, it increases safety. The more we talk about sex as a healthy, normal thing, the more open we can all be about it. For some people, that's not a good thing- they think it encourages immorality. However, there are so many people who go into the hospital with sexual-related injuries (don't laugh!). People stick all sorts of household objects into their various orifices (usually their rectums) because they are too embarrassed to simply run by a sex shop to purchase a safe, clean toy. Injuries result, which is never good. Moreover, a general acquaintence with one's body is always best- you should know your parts and how and why they function in case anything ever goes wrong. There are other health things, too, like the fact that regular masturbation may prevent prostate problems for men.
Fifth, it results in more personal satisfaction. I still lament when there are married women who have never had orgasms, who complain and laugh (!) at the fact that their partners can't find their clitorises or know how to pleasure them. (Not that it takes any skill- just caring, loving, and being able to take direction). Sex is a vital part of a relationship and helps aid in intimacy, not to mention that orgasms (alone or with someone) relieve stress. The more we know about sex, and the more open we are about it, we can start demanding pleasure and satisfaction in bed, rather than having to lay there and 'think of England' as young women used to be schooled.
Sixth, no knowledge should be censored. Sex is no different- the more anyone knows about anything, the better, in my mind.
Please educate yourselves about sex!

Well, you need to know what sex you are so you know which public bathroom to use.
If you are in, or ever plan to be in a sexual relationship, you should learn everything you can about sex.
1. It will help you avoid unwanted pregnancy (if that is a concern)
2. It will help you learn to prevent disease.
3. It will help you figure out what you like and do not like.
4. It will help you find new ways of pleasing your partner.
