Why isn't ex President Carter observing the elections in Montana and Virginia instead of poncing around down in Nicaragua?

jimmy carter did do smething good for america,he made america look clean again after the watergate scandal, he was well liked by brits, he visited the geordies in the north east the crowd awaited him, he spoke a famous geordi centenc he sai "Awaaaay the lads" And he got a fantastic welcom with that one....nice guy still like him I do.

Because you have to be an official federal observer by order of a district court to observe elections, either that or one of two party appointees.

Carter is there as an independant observer. He wouldn't be viewed as independant watching a U.S. election.

Ex-President Carter is a trouble maker. He is the one that really started the immigration reform, and now is is just sitting pretty not owning up to what he did.

Why doesn't he just go somewhere and hide.
He was probably the worst president we ever had.

Ah.....President Carter,those were innocent lovely days.In Europe we used to call him "peanut carter".I was a schoolboy then.Little did we know it was all downhill after Carter.We still love 'ya Jimmy!!!!

There are many monitors at those sites, just lower profile than Carter.

Why don't you ask him? Maybe Montana didn't ask him (I have no idea if Nicaragua did).

One guy can't do everything.

carter is just to old for these elections. he is no threat to this country if that what your implying
