God help us all!
Voters: today reminds me of the old, often-ignored adage
"Be careful what you ask for; you might get it."
I have only two consolations:
a. Winning the battle today might lose the Dems the war in '08
b. Pelosi is considered "not liberal enough" in her home district. Having to work with other, less liberal Dems and some GOP's may tick off her constituents enough to vote her out in '08.

Great step for women, Unfortunately bad choice of women!! She is a liberal NUT BAG who will fight against everything the Republicans try to do. I don't mind Democrats as long as they research and listen to reason. Something she will never do!

I've never liked her...period...so, I don't like her any more as the new speaker of the house. She's scary looking!

i dont really know about alot of her views but it is good to see the dems getting back in and having some say so in the way things are going. it helps even things out so one point of view is not dictating 100% of whats going on.
