.It is a trick coin. There has only been one coin authenticated as being a true mint issue two headed coin and it is an Indian Head cent. Back a couple of years there were ads for them in some of the coin magazines. Most collector frown on them, so I have not seen ads for sometime. There are just a gimmick

Check with a coin dealer or get a numismatist's handbook. It is probably worth quite a bit. Irregular stampings are very rare and denotes something to be desired buy coin enthusiasts.

I've seen these sold in magazines. You can get either a "heads" or a "tails" quarter. It is a joke quarter, so that you can win everytime you bet someone "heads or tails."
