The last day of conflict on this planet has not happened yet and will not happen until man finally understands that physical conflict is not the answer to a need or question. Man has not advanced much since the first wars on this planet, only better ways of killing. We should pay more attention to the startrek series. As with most things, answers are most often found in the science fiction arenas of thought. If in doubt find out some of the now facts from the original 'Buck Rogers' series and books

well, i guess that would depend on what your refering to as a conflict. it could be argued that conflicts exist even when people do not exist. Are there not conflicts in nature? Fights among animals? How about natural disaters, depending on your veiw, you could seee that as a conflict of nature. And seeing as how the planet is just one big ball of nature, i would argue that this planet is a breeding ground for conflict, wether or not man even existed.
