Do you know something we don't? Last I heard the Democrats were winning both. And recounts are mandated by law in close elections.

Unless there are a lot of provable allegations of vote tampering in the Old Dominion, I don't see Allen demanding endless recounts. There will be at least one since VA law requires it when the margin is less than 1%. Montana will probably have one as well for the same reason, but I'm not convinced that Conrad Burns has come back enough to win.

Allen will act gracious, but don't be fooled. This "faux cowboy", bush sycophant, bigot, will not mean a word of it! He has now been exposed for all to see what he really is, a coward, serial liar, and a racist. Everything he says should be presumed a lie until its accuracy and sincerity is proved beyond all reasonable doubt!! He ran the nastiest, most lying campaign I have ever seen in this state! The feds are actively investigating several instances of minority voter suppression by his campaign and there are recordings (which have been played on the local media) directing folks to the wrong precincts. There are other instances of minority voter suppression besides the robos. My friends, that is a criminal violation of federal election laws. Campaigns usually reflect the candidate; in this case the proposition could never be truer!

How come its not ok for Repubs to recount but it's ok for dems to recount . Just like Kerry did. Dems love that double standard.

They have to save face in order to retain some place in the party when/if they do lose. That is still a tight race in VA.

Probably, they won't be sore losers like Democrats.
