Hardly. The democrats had to move right to win the election. The remaining Republicans are more conservative thanks to the rejection of several moderates like Lincoln Chafee in the Senate. Many conservative propositions around the nation passed. To me, it looks like conservatism is strong, it's the Bush led moderate (neo-con) wing that has to be sweating right now. The conservatives may be on the verge of recapturing the GOP.

NeoConservatism is a failed ideology. Hopefully.

Traditional Conservatism and Liberalism go very hand in hand. They help each view to evolve and helps provokes real options for solving problems.

being conservative is not necessary to bring fail. But arrogant, ignorant, stubborn, and greed defintely lead you to the losing end. Take a look the GOP :)

no because most of the democrats that got elected were conservative. The democrats learned thier lesson too well.
