no, that means you have an infection which may be from something contagious which others can catch.

A temperature of 100.9 is past the average "norm"... and if you are feeling sick along with it, resting at home would be best. Honestly, what good would it do you to go to school when you will be unable to focus because you are sick. Not resting when you have a fever usually enhances the symptoms... and can lead to fatigue.
but that's just my opinion.

Yes, you are still allowed to go to school but it really depends on how you feel whether or not you should go. If your mom is insisting that you go and you don't feel well during the day, just go to the nurse and they'll more than likely dedide to send you home. Then they will call your mom and say that you are ill and need to come home and she basically has no choice then but to come get you and take you home. Hope you feel better.

No. They say fever, vomitting, diaherria, etc. within past 24 hours no school. And hate to say it but 100.9 is a temp.

If you have a fever you should not go to school. You are probably contagious and you risk giving whatever you have to everyone else. Our school sends kids home with temps over 100.0 due to the possiblity of being contagious. Stay home if you can.

Tell your mom to call the school and ask... that way she knows you are telling the truth... I would never send my children to school with a fever!

No, you'll just whine up coming right back home because you have a fever.
