Some things will. It also paves the way for more moderate/liberal Democrats who are actually more in tune with the post baby boomer generation.
Things take time.
Last night was a start!

You can expect to see the real beginning of the collapse of the healthcare, medicare and social security systems as the combination of the administration and the democrats proceeds to rapidly balloon the numbers of those entitled to receive those benefits grows by 100 million within a relatively short period. The only recourse for this will be to stop providing those services or to look at a doubling of taxes to cover it. Question the numbers, those who propose amnesty admit to 12 million each of these will have a spouse and 4 children (and growing). Of course the real number will be greater than 12, some estimate 20 million. So yes things will change but not for the good. Bush and his cronies will still be there and a nut will be in control of the House. If the current events give you a warm fuzzy feeling don't worry it won't last.

I think a lot of Democrats ran on conservative issues but I bet when they get settled in, just like all politicians, they will vote right down party lines.

I truly think so. I think that the citizens of this great country have sent a message and even the Republicans will have to take notice.
