I been designing and programming systems for the past 15 years as a consultant, and now I have some completed software that I would like to package and market and sell, I don't want to start small with a website, because my advantage is that I make really easy to use software, kinda like what APPLE did to the iPOD (mp3 player market), so I want to raise money. Where do I start after I complete my business plan. My credit isn't that good for a SBA LOAN.

Contact "SCORE", the Service Corps of Retired Executives, in your location. They may be able to give you some leads on where to go for financing.

However, if SBA won't back your funding, then most investors will consider you too risky.
