Don't turn it on.Remove the batteries.Shake out any water and dry as completely as possible,a hair dryer can be used.Wait at least 24 hours for residual water to completely evaporate.
Replace batteries.Say a short prayer.Turn it on.Say a longer prayer. If it works, give praise to your Higher Power. If it doesn't,it got a short and its toast.
Please note.If you drop your cell phone in water and take it back to the company and lie and say it stopped working, they will know Right away because there is a small piece of litmus paper embedded in the phone that tells the technician if its been dropped in water.

do one thing.
open up the phone. (remove all the facials)
remove the battery, the sim and don't switch it on.
dry it with the help of a high power bulb or a hair drier.
i am sure if its a nokia 1100 it will work soon.
don't be late take ur phone to a customer care centre and get it checked. if u r lucky ur phone might work.

Remove the battery and let it dry for 48 hours or blow dry it. This is the best chance of survival.
