Any direction but the direction this President and Congress have been leading us for the last 12 years. We need to focus on renewable energy (forget the ethanol - that takes more energy to make than it provides). We also need to focus on our problems and not the middle east. We cannot fix something we neither understand, nor can really change. If the Iraqi's want change, they need to stand up for themselves.

Don't you think they could have told us what their plan was before the election? Do I think bush is the man? No there is always someone that could do better. But when you vote for someone on the merit of their party instead of Who is the best one for the job you get what we have hear A failure to communicate. If the Dem's are so hell bent on the immigration move why didn't they say We are not going home for the winter until this is resolved? Stay and work for your money like the rest of us. Force the issue and show us you want resolve. Tell us your great plan for Iraq WE ARE ALL EARS. Was that a pin that just dropped?

Whatever the direction as long as it is not the same rhetoric as the one Mr. Bush is heading into will be fine with me. I sincerely hope that the Democratic Party will tell the people in Iraq that we have business in America to take care of and can't afford to spend any more lives and money for a land of people who are bent on killing each other and our young men and women over there.........

Illegal Immigration - Amensty disguised as a "worker program". Bush will sign it.

Other then that, they don't have a direction. There plan is to "make a plan about Iraq". People seem to buy that.

Good question, I have only heard about a Dem initiative to negotiate for prescription drugs for Medicare/Medicaid. I heard the pundits say they have withdrawn their calls on changing things in Iraq and domestic monitoring (almost as soon as the election results came in). But I have no idea...
