Both political parties working toward a common GOAL? A better USA

MAYBE - since they have some power back they will now behave and work with Republicans.

Am I giving them too much credit, or will it work?

You are giving them way too much credit. They act like titty babies and whine over everything. I doubt that will change!! The democrats support abortion (including partial birth abortion!!), illegal immigrations, no capital punishment, gun control, freedom of speech for only them, God OUT of schools and anywhere in public. If anyone can think of anything else by all means, post it. I see nothing good coming from the left wing nut job liberals like Nancy Pelosi. I will be the first one to laugh when people start complaining. I can look at them and say "I told you so". Unfortunately, the God loving, anti-communist Americans will have to suffer for people's pure ignorance.

Hell yeah they better! All that talk and no action will piss off us Americans! Yes you are giving them too much credit. Since when have both parties actually have worked together to better this country. This countrys reputation and politics have been in the toilet for years. If they want to make a change this country for the better they better do something about real soon!!

Yes, but I think in the end things won't change all that much cause they would never admit it but things weren't as bad as the media made out. They were just poor loosers and face it, they never really had a plan so they will stick with the one at hand. I see a bunch of bickering over nonimportant stuff tho.

I believe they wish to hold us distracted with petty partisan politics! Its like a cleaning soap Opera. It continues the cognizance off the the truly disorders, like our charter getting tore up! Or the Federal Reserve printing and borrowing our long run away! We want a real impartial social gathering which can be for the humans!

I don’t know why everyone is crying in their Kool-Aid about the Dems having a slight majority in the House. They don’t have a 2/3rds majority so they can’t do anything. The President has a veto pen to veto any bills that come across his desk and the Democrats do not have a 2/3rds majority to override His veto. Congress is going to be hopelessly deadlocked for the next two years….Hmmmm HOT DOG! THAT’S PROBABLY THE BEST NEWS I HAVE HEARD ALL DAY!!! If Congress can’t get anything done that means they can’t mess anything up!

Yes, I do hope that. And for the person wondering who is gloating look to New Hampshire, Massachusetts and more.
We need all parties to make our government work.

I have seen no gloating at all. The Dems want to get to work to help the middle class. We will now have the bipartisan government designed by the constitution. It is Repubs who were too power mad to work with Dems.

I would like to think, after the results from VA and MT come in, the Dems can gloat for ONE HOUR, then, let's get to work!

It goes both ways...hopefully they won't fall for this crap that they need to follow everything the reps say, or they are dividers, That's what got us into Iraq in the first place. My guess is BOTH sides will be on their best behavior with the presidential election 2 years away. The voters are now voting on the JOB done and not FEAR.

Bush and the Republicans refused to work with the Democrats before. (Bush's idea of 'unity' was for Democrats to blindly go along with anything he said).

Now that the Democrats have at least the House, Bush and the Republicans are going to be forced to work with the Democrats, instead of going unilaterally. That is a good thing
