Art is expression of emotions and a reaction to the times and environment we live in. It's that simple.

Art is anything. Art is what an artist makes, a gallery showcases amd sells, what a museum displays..there can not be one solid definition of what art is. It is not always beautiful, or introspective. Nor is art made by the artist's hands. Look at Andy Warhol, he didn't even make most of his art, he had an assistant do it. Art is everything and anything.
Beauty is anything as well. One's own eyes decides if soemthing is beautiful or not the same way that an idea is good or bad. It depends on how long the idea has been formulating, but it is still elusive and up to each individual to know that their thought/idea of beauty is individual to each and every person.

They are both hard to define. Let's try: Art: It's any form of creation in which the created represents what the creator wanted to convey. Everything in life can be art. For somebody a nice car can be art while someone else is just seeing it a form of transportation. Other people conceive it as art when someone throws pig blood on a canvas.
The same goes for beauty. It lies in the eye of the beholder. Let's take a woman for example. For one man (or woman) she can be the most beautiful person in the world while other people may find her ugly. Beauty is even harder to define. And the perception of beauty differs from person to person.
