Oven cleaner works great on the gas burners. Heat up the burners first, turn off flame, then spray oven clean on them, let soak until cool, and wipe clean.

Use equal part of the following 3 items. Use caution and make sure to have good ventilation, bad fumes..Bleach liquid, Powder Tide and Cascade. Mix it together to make a paste. Paste it on the area and leave over night... Should do the trick for you..Good Luck...

First turn off the gas at the wall, spray on oven cleaner and let it set overnite, You may have to do this several times but that shouls do the trick.

-you could try scrubbing with vinegar and baking soda.
is it sticky? if it's sticky you probably have a chance to get in off. if it is glazed on like enamel now it's not going to come off without using a jackhammer.
you are going to have to use a hellofalot of elbow grease.

Open all the windows and turn the stove fan onto high, then turn the flames on medium high and burn it all off.
