Sounds like you are NOT a republican?
and you have not been alive long enuf to realize - - -
this political/voting/results game goes on and on -
like a never ending tennis match, or ping-pong table game -
Back and forth - back and forth -
and who really cares about what whomever 'feels'?
The "ball" in the game has no feelings - it just "IS" -
like the politics of the human machine - it just "IS"
Live - grow - and learn. . .

Actually, it's the absolute best thing that could have happened for Republicans. The Democrats have 2 years to prove to the country that they can't govern better than the Repubs, so the Repubs have a shot at retaining the executive branch in 08. If Dems hadn't won last night, it would just be more whining for 2 years until the 08 election. Now the Dems won't have anyone to blame.

I'm a republican. It feels normal for the last 20 yrs.
A real Republican.
Not a fascist.
I guess I should change parties.
Hmmm Democrat????
No I'm not a socialist....
Ya know the theory on those are different but the results are roughly the same.
Guess I'm closer to a Libertarian.
You Republicrats keep going. The people will eventually succumb.
Its state run either way with money leading.
Sheep.

Gotta comment to CM about republicans ruling Texas........glad you approve because i would be ashamed to be from Texas. The place where No Child Left Behind FAILED in Houston but still became national policy. NCLB is based on the Texas Experiment which educators and researchers are finding was forged and distorted. Great to know that national education policy is based on a state that is willing to lie in order to look better. Need proof .... just start looking into HOW Texas operated their glorified TAAS system and who did not have to take it and what many schools did when they feared a student would not pass it. It is laughable!
Texas......a backwards state that the Mexicans are going to get back by simply moving back in :) Go Mexico! Take Texas...we don't want it!

We're sad, but you'll be happy to know the
Terrorists in Iran and Syria are jumping for
joy. They know this means a defeated America
by the terrorist regimes. And you, winners,
need to get out your wallets as your taxes are
now doomed to go up. National healthcare will
break the back of the economy and explode
the national debt. Immorality will now be rampant.
So, hope you Democrats will be happy with all the above

Some of us conservatives stayed on the sidelines because the current Republican congress has abandoned us.
Only after the Democrat-controlled congress shows its true colors (higher taxes, higher spending, erosion of family values, weak foreign policy, etc...) will Republicans strive to bring true conservative values back to the platform.

Two things...
1. As I have stated already in other questions....many of the New Dems that got elected were very moderate....you know pro-life, pro gun, like the tax cuts, don't like the war but think we just can't pull everyone out and leave them to their own....so this is not going to be the big sweeping change that you all think it will....
2. You did not win enough seats to override a veto....so the Pres. still has a lot of sway in what happens.....

It was rigged, Dems cheated, controlled the software on the machines. Wahhhh Wahhhh......
See that's what you guys have sounded like for the last 8 years.
I can take a loss and learn from it and fight another day, but unfortunately Dems can't. I thought that before all the voting started that the Republicans had already rigged it to win according to your Dem/lib nut jobs so what happened, was that just a smoke screen for you guys doing it????
Conspiracy, Conspiracy.....

It would figure with the maturity of most Dems that we'd see a post like this.
Nevermind the fact that the party of second term Presidents usually gets beat in mid-terms (i.e., what happened last night was normal!).

I have done nothing wrong and I am definitely not shameful. I have my core beliefs and I apologize to no one. Will you be singing this song in a few years, only time will tell.
