He has absolutely nothing to say to me as a gay man. He wastes his and my time with his religious delusions. His last question on meeting a man in a bus stop was a joke--even I,of questionable morals (LOL) wouldn't be picking people up in a bus stop...He is absolutely entitled to his opinion..I don't deny that...but why is he cluttering up the GLBT site with his religious preachings? If it were a choice--It would be enough to drive any person gay or lesbian. His arguments are weak, tired and not appreciated here.

Actually the Majority of his posts are Off Topic Spam, I report them as such, others are Personal Communication and Chatting, which I also report. Many others are rhetorical questions, If they aren't meant to be answered it's "not a question or answer" and if they lead to judgmental decisions it falls under Harassment.
9 out of 10 of his posts are reportable.
I do so simply because I find his questions only vaguely understandable, unwelcome proselytizing, as well as Judgmental harassment.

Well, I myself actually wondered the same thing (why David Israel is on the GLBT site). However, it could be a few different reasons.
1) David might be gay and feels this is where he should talk
2) David may be playing out the Internet version of the 'street preacher' who would go to the downtown corner cause that's where he feels the 'sinners' are and preach at the top of his lungs. (BTW, this forum has no more sinners than any other forum.)
3) David just might be confused on how to properly categorize questions.
Or finally, David may just be trying to annoy everybody on the site.

It's hard to say why he's here, but really, I would not worry about him.

If you read his so-called profile he has NO girlfriend, he is homophobic, he preaches we are sinful, the more people that report him the faster he will be out of here. He is self righteous and narrow minded. There is really something wrong with him, we need to get rid of him and his hateful questions. He is a danger to us all, gay and straight. Oh, by the way, he is NOBODY. :) He knows he is NOT welcome here and he also knows that he is harassing us. What are we going to do about this abomination?

Yeh. If it matters, he posts equally nutty stuff in the R/S section as well. Mental health issues are probably the reason. "Jews for Jesus" is simply absurd since he wouldn't remain a Jew and most likely wouldn't fit well in most Christian denominations. For this guy, mental health problems most likely really are the explanation. I guess it's easier to pontificate than to get proper help, or perhaps he is being treated and it's an acting out part of his disorder.

Who said its " Your" site? The space is designed to be a site where people can ask questions about gays and the gay lifestyle. Nobody said it " belonged " to anyone.

The delusion that some God doesn't like alternative life-styles and therefore it is okay to be a bigoted pain in the neck.

I agree with you I think he is very confused and very repressed. I hope he comes to terms with the fact that being homosexual is not a sin and that he went through reparative therapy and ruined his life for nothing.

I would be angry too if I was him.
