Cannot remember his name, which makes it kind of difficult. He was a short white dog with a really big forehead, a funny voice and I think he was a detective. I seem to remember him having a pipe as well. Most distinct characteristics were the BIG forehead and whiny sounding voice. Think he was part of the Warner Bros cartoons, but nothing's coming up on their website.

Your dog may be either Mr. Peabody from 'The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show' or Droopy from Hanna Barbera cartoons.

Not entirely sure who you mean as in the 80's there were a few cartoons which had dogs in them!

just put a pic of "Rush Linbaugh" on your desk. He looks like a cartoon dog, especially today, lol.....sorry rush, get another bottle of pain pills and sit in your chair.
