I don't believe that anyone is here for any specific reason..if you have been afforded the element of choice in your life (you live in a first world country where you are not starving to death) then you are the one that decides in what direction your life goes...you and only you. Make the best of it..if you have goals then follow them..don't get caught up in this whole idea of eternal life because if you do..and you end up being wrong..you're far worse off than if you don't believe in at all.
If your life seems to be slipping away from you..you need to catch it as soon as you can..and do something about it..if it seems that it might be the start of depression go see a doctor...if it's mere frustration with the world today..do something to change it. If it's a more personal matter then sort it out. The thing is not to waste your life, any part of it sitting around doing nothing because you are frustrated..you only get one life so make the best of it. Change things..go further your education...take up some hobbies..live life to the fullest..be all you can be..literally. Then..you will not be frustrated.

When I exhibit a strong sense of purpose, everybody in sight tries to stop me. I've been quite sure what I'm here for, but the people I love have gone to great lengths to make sure it's more than worthless. Anything or anybody you give your life for can be trashed along with yourself. So, I've decided to stop and smell the wildflowers instead of constantly trying to make roses for everybody else. I'm havin' a great time here on Yahoo Answers while They all figure out what to do next!
On a more positive note: 1) Make sure you spend some time every day doing what You like. 2) Have a "long-term thing" and a "short-term thing" just in case there really is a tomorrow. 3) Memorize each "magic moment" so it's yours forever no matter what.

I know it is easier said than done but try to have more confidence in yourself. Join a club, find a hobby and interact with more people.
I feel the same way so I decided to do something new. I've recently bought a guitar and have been trying to teach myself how to play it. One other thing is that I am taking motorcycle for beginner class. All of my buddies have bikes so I am going to get one too.
You can't stop aging but you can maximize your life experience by interacting.

Yes. You're not alone. I fee like.. I'm not going anywhere.. and I could be doing so much more with my life and my talents and gifts. But you know what? God has a plan for you even if it doesn't feel like his plan is in motion. I'm only 15 but I know that He's there and thats what keeps me going.

It sounds like your stagnant....
What do you enjoy in life. What makes you happy? It sounds like you may be keeping yourself away from even the simple pleasures. If your everyday life seems repetitious, do something different.
When we do something new or something pleasurable, it makes the days more enjoyable!

You suppose to find a joy in something every day. Like you can enjoy a good weather, or a good show on TV, or a good food...
Whatever, as long as you find something good about life or yourself every day. If you didn't - the day is wasted, you're correct.
