Sure, if that's what is needed. Truthfully, we have a great deal of tax revenue. But I'd like to see it going for roads, education, health care, programs to help impoverished people. And that's what tax revenue is for, to keep society functioning smoothly. I also would like to see an equitable tax system. And I'd like to see bureaucracy cut, one of the biggest drains of tax revenues. And I'd like to see...
Peace.

Actually I will be paying more in taxes as I make around 250K. Money is not every thing. We need a change of direction in the US. I own a small business and now business is very slow because my clients, the middle class does not have the money to spend. The better off they are, the more money I make which will by far offset the extra taxes. Its a win win situation for the US.I am tired of what Bush did to our great nation. He made us the laughing stock of the world. If Obama does not win Palin will continue in Bushes tradition. Just listen to what the Europeans have to say about her. They are seeing it more objectively than we can and they can not believe it. At first I was not too upset if McCain was to win, but picking Palin chnages my entire view of him. How can you be moderate and middle of the road and pick someone like her.

First of all, it's mindless jerks who spout that crap about Democrats and taxes. Secondly, I don't mind paying taxes at all. They help keep my highways clear of ice and snow and in good repair. They help fund research aimed at curing my wife's Parkinson's disease and my diabetes. They help pay for my care at the VA hospital. They help pay to keep today's Armed Forces the best in the world.
Would I pay more? Absolutely!
See, my son spent half his combat tour in Baghdad without body armor, often without enough clean water, and not infrequently without properly-maintained vehicles. Yeah, I'll pay more if he has to go back to see that he has the latest in body armor the day he arrives instead of six months later.
I could go on, dude, but curse any blamed fool who blames taxes solely on Democrats. It wasn't a Democratic President and Congress that frittered away the biggest budget surplus in history and saddled us with today's record deficit! Do y'suppose you could rethink your silly ideas about Dems?

ha! good one! I've heard people moan about republicans, but you're right, dems have historically always supported big government.
Ugh, that's just what I want to do. Have more of my money taken away from me to support 50 zillion more government funded "programs"
rawr!

...booo....taxes....i hate supporting our government.
I wish taxes were gone so our whole federal system would have zero funding and the entire country would lose all of its economic power.
