On here or in real life?
In real life, ignore the impertinent questions and stay on topic yourself. Perhaps the question seems important to the person, and if it is, they will continue to ask it, if so, answer but continue to keep to the real subject.
On here? If you feel a question is impertinent, move on. By answering those q's you are only giving the person what they want, attention.

Be straight forward with them. If you find it offensive and try to tip toe around it the person either won't grasp what you are trying to say or ignore it.

I don't even bother. I ignore them. Unless I find it highly offensive and then I report them. I have only done that twice.
