Depends. Is the character evil, or does he have a shadowed past and/or present? DarkSolo as a name could be good, but you have to make sure that it matches the character to stick it with.

that depends entirely on what you are writing about. Is it a fantasy novel? A comic book? A Japanese comic like Anime??
