fullfillment depends on the attitude u take in each and every situation. first you should love urself and when that happens whatever comes ur way gives u joy and fulfillment.just read the true tory below and u'll know.A wise man was giving a lecture in an university . the question answer session came and all students were so shy to ask questions, so the wise man said, “as u r all too shy to ask questions ,I’ll ask you one question ,what do u all want ? tell me and I shall give you.”
A young man got up and said that he wanted first class degree from the university.
the wise man said, “ ok I grant you your degree, hope your needs are full filled”.
The student said, “but sir ,I needed that degree so that I might get myself a good job”
Wiseman: “ah!so you want a job ,why didn’t you tell me before. instead of a degree I could have given you a job. Ok ,now that you have asked I’ll give a job in my ashram, you can choose what job you need ,whether a gardener, office assistance or a driver ,but u shall get no income”
Student: “but sir, I am looking for a well paid job in a multinational company”,
Wise man: “so, what you really want is money and not the job ,ok I’ll deposit 1 crore in your account this minute ,but u cannot withdraw or use it, but its all yours ,agreed”
student was confused: “what’s the use of a large sum of money without being able to spend sir . I can buy a big house ,fancy cars etc out of the money”.
Wiseman: “young man ,I shall give you the biggest house and any number of cars that you ask for, but you should not enter the house or drive the cars”.
Student: “how am I to get the happiness of enjoying my life if I am unable to use any of that sir”.
Wiseman: “at last you have come to the source of all wants and desires in this world, ultimately u want happiness. when u wanted a degree u came to university, if u want a job u go to the employment exchange. Is there an external address for happiness? where should u seek it? the list is never ending. u can never find fullfillment in worldly things.

For me, creativity! Mostly singing, songwriting & playing guitar these days. I was on the cover of my local paper the other day singing at my favourite bar. That was a great feeling! I think sharing creative talent with others and getting recognition for it is the most fulfilling thing on earth. Now if I could just become famous & be able to quit my day job I'd be completely fulfilled!

Being totally honest for my whole life. If I had waited for others to jeep their word, be up front about what they really knew to the core and what they only guessed at, to be just rather than occasionally kind--I would have waited for 65 years. I love greatness in anyone, honesty, and a love of beauty and being able to honestly say I honorably stood for these things--nothing can come close to that as a source of fulfillment. I wouldn't be any good to anyone else if I weren't first good as myself.

The concept of fulfilment in life differs from person to person. Accumulation of wealth, sound health, earning name and fame, doing social service, getting children, enjoyment of sex, leading a bachelor's life, achievement in sports and games, acquisition of knowledge and a host of such ambitions are the different goals that are considered as the fulfilment in life by different persons. Choice is yours!

For me , it is the feeling of being WANTED.
If I look back in time , from my birth , Ithis feeling of being wanted has propelled me forward towards fulfilment. Mother , father, siblings , friends , colleagues , children ........ if this feeling is there thorughout, I feel I have fulfilment in life. all other things , material or otherwise become secondary and I am able to enjoy the world better.

A life well lived, with the responsibilities well fulfilled, with the dreams well dreamt and well realised and with the memories of you well remembered by others, that make their eyes welling up.

I imagine for everyone its different. But I think its discovering that plateau in life where you're just content with who you, what you are and what you've attained in life. Its finding that place within yourself where you know where you're headed in life but at the same time enjoying the unknowings of life itself. Its about self discovery and just finding inner peace, happiness and contentment with what you do have and not taking anything for granted. Its reaching that stage where you've become the ultimate of who you are as a person. Hope it makes sense. Its basically undescribeable.

Fulfillment has to be a personal thing, but I think everyone has to feel like they contribute to society in a meaningful way.
