He was one of the most popular characters on the show. I just don't understand why they killed him off. I did hear a rumor that he was a complete jerk to work with on the set, and that's why they gave him the axe. I just can't believe the monster actually killed him.

I've noticed that every time a LOST actor gets arrested for a DUI they get killed off. Could be a coincidence, but so far it's 3 for 3 (Anna Lucia, Libby, Eko). Might be a liability issue for the studio.
