THAT'S A TOUGHY.

IN SOME CASES, THEY DO, BUT IN MOST CASES THEY DON'T.

PROCEED WITH CAUTION. GET TO KNOW HIM AGAIN BEFORE YOU MAKE ANY DECISIONS ABOUT GETTING BACK WITH HIM.

IF THE SITUATION WAS AN ABUSIVE ONE IN THE PAST, THEN I WOULD SAY TO AVOID THAT AT ALL COSTS, BECAUSE RARELY PEOPLE LIKE THAT WILL EVER CHANGE.

GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS!

That would depend on what he needed to change. I am 35 years old and found that most people do not change for the sake of others. We are creatures of habit and only change when it makes sense for us. If he does not clearly see the problems he has, he can't change. A good example is when someone has a dependence problem (ie, drugs, gambling, alchoholism) these people do not even attempt to change unless they bottom out, even then, they need support to see how others are affected and the kind of life they can have if they did not do what they were doing. I am not implying that he has a dependence problem but our brains are wired the same.

People can change da superficial things, but not the inner core. There is a chinese saying, you can dry the sea and dig the mountain, but u cannot change one's personality. However, there are still exeptionals, I hope.

My personal idea, what really matter is you! whether he's changed or not doesn't matter. No one is perfect; when u love s/o, we tend to accept the counterpart's personality, both bad and good points, with consciousness. If you thought u cannot accept, follow your head and heart,,,

people never really change its imposible.
many women say they can change a man to be the right one but a human can't snap their fingure and bam all better.
It doens't work that way.
People do not really change, they might seem like they do for a while but every day it just dies a little more until they go back to the way they were and always will be

sometimes they do . Most of the time in that situation they think they change because they want what is now gone, namely you. But once you go back the change will last maybe a month......
other situations...yes, like alcoholics that give up drinking......

It's possible for anyone to change.

In this case, he could be lying. It depends on the circumstances of the breakup.

If he dumped you, chances are he hasn't changed. If you broke up with him, it is possible that he has changed but its just as possible he's saying something to get you back. If the breakup was mutual I'd say he has probably changed.

i dont think so. i have been through that before with my ex and when i took him back things went right back to the way they were within about a month or so. i think people can change when moving into a new relationship but not returning.

some people can change..for the better. but it takes time, not just over-nite kind of thing.
the person has to do alot of soul searching why he does the things he does to hurt people and all that.

I don't think they really ever fully change unless they want to. The kicker is, finding out if he really wants to or not.

Yeah, for about twenty minutes. Then the old habits kick back in.
