I would suggest living in the area zoned for Katy ISD. Some of the "nicer" communities are Seven Lakes, Grand Lakes, Cinco Ranch, all the Kelliwood subdivisions, and Lake Pointe...but these are just a few of many. There are many nice areas here, with new areas being built all the time!
I would HIGHLY suggest that you stay out of Houston ISD, Alief ISD, Fort Bend ISD, and Cy-Fair ISD. (We have experience in Alief and Cy-Fair ISDs......not good ones....and I have I known teachers that have left Fort Bend ISD due to standards....and they end up teaching in Katy ISD!)

Spring Branch ISD iz ware I learnt to be a good speler.
