...For years, liberals have using church pulpits to stump for their candidates.
...Conservative are not allowed the same luxury. When conservative messages come from Catholic and evangelical pulpits, the liberals and the ACLU cry foul, and "separation of church and state". Also, for several years "VOTERS' GUIDE", a researched pamphlet which shows the positions of the major candidates on various issues, has been vigorously opposed by the liberals and the ACLU -I believe the truth hurts the liberals, and they do not want it available to the voters.
They will file suit, a judge will order that the distribution of the VOTERS' GUIDE be stopped, and once the election is over, the liberals drop the suit - some trick, hmmm?
...What do you think?

the rules are different because democrats are different than republicans, didnt you know?
a democrat can stand on his head and tell the rest of the world is upside down, and everyone else will believe it. if a republican does the same, he gets sued for teling everybody else what he thinks should be right.
when a democrat accuses a republican of voter fraud, being unfair to somebody or a group of people, cheaing on something, or anything of that nature, its really what the democrats are doing. when a republican does the same thing, the democrats say its slander and hate speech.
democrats are allowed to be different because they know better than everybody else, and republicans are just a bunch of sticks in the mud from states where there is no common sense.
last but not least, dont forget, 5000 years of human evolution doesnt mean anything now that the democrats are in power, or will be, next year.

This is crazy! You guys were all high and mighty a couple months ago and now that the Republicans have been replaced because the American people want to see the system of checks and balances working again, you cry about it? Interesting. The votes are in and, as of yet, no one has complained because most of these elections were landslides! A recount, on average, will only change the outcome of an election by a maximum of 1%. Since Democrats won most races by 5% or more there is no sensible reason to ask for a recount.

As for stumping ... I have never been to a church that has allowed someone to preach for political office (unless the preacher is the one running). I have seen candidates from both sides go to different churches and introduce themselves to the congregation. i see nothing wrong with that because it is one place where many American's go, church!

As for the lady whining about her right to pray where she wants when she wants, she is correct that her interpretation of the 1st Amendment is wrong. True, it guarantees the right to freedom of religion, however, it has also faced the tests of the courts as most amendments and parts of amendments have. In those court cases it was determined that this right is only protected if you can prove you are not influencing others with your religious belief. The facts about fighting prayer in school and other religious connections to government systems include that all of these cases are brought by one or two persons who feel their children are being pressured to view things in a particular way. They hire the ACLU which is not a democrat or republican organization but rather, in my opinion, represents socialism or fascism.

Anyways, the true issue behind your question is of perceptions. People perceive things differently and your perception is based on your own bias that Republicans know everything and think they are always right and best for everyone. The belief that Republicans hold a strangle hold on positive morals and beliefs is ludicrous. I think in the last couple years we have been shown that many politicians, regardless of their party, are corrupt, ignorant, and selfish.

Dude, seriously.I was at a church in Alabama in 2004 before the Presidential vote and the preacher told us all to vote against abortion and such (basically telling us to vote Repub). I am actually disappointed that to get elected in Congress or President you have to be mean and campaign the way these people have this time. It's ridiculous whoever you vote for.

Liberals SAY they are trying to protect our rights. But in reality they are putting us all at risk of great peril. The problem with these people is they say things are wrong like prayer in schools when in reality they have removed my right to pray where and when I choose. Talk about needing a separation of church and state!!! I thought the government couldn't tell me how to worship? Or is my understanding of the First Ammendment been wrong for nearly 40 years? They have destroyed the Bill of Rights. Maybe "We the People" need to review what our rights actually are and demand that the government quit stomping all over them!!!

Nice try....I've never seen a liberal use a church pulpit to stump for a candidate. You are thinking of neo cons.

I think you should stop whining and accept the fact the the tides have turned and a new power will represent the people.

I'm still trying to figure out why I had to show an ID to vote. I thought that the Supreme Court ruled this unconstitutional.

Guess it was because I was a registered Republican. Only the Democrats are allowed to use dead and animal votes.

Don't know an answer to your question either.

The rules are the same. The difference is your personal point of view.

I think you lost and you are whining. Corruption, incompetence and arrogance brought you down, not the ACLU.
