I just got a kitten and am having a hard time thinking of a name. There is a certain kind of bear that is fluffy and is a deep brown or black. It has a longer nose than a regular bear, and has a patch of white fur on its chest. Do you know what its called??

The type of bear that you may be referring to is called the Asiatic Black Bear, or the Malaysian Sun Bear. If the description that you gave was that of you new kitten, I would call it "Dot" lol. I hope that I helped.

It's a Sloth bear found in the forests of India and South East Asia.

Sounds as though you are describing a Himalayan Honey Bear

I've seen the Asiatic Black bear with a stripe of light coloration accross its chest. I don't think that will help you with a name.

Not sure what kind of bear that is, but there used to be a show on tv (and a movie too, I think) called "Grizzly Adams" and someone I know calls their cat "Grizzly Catums" I think it's kind of cute.
