I 'm sure there are MILLIONS of girls who have gotten pregnant from the so called "withdrawl method" I really wouldn't even call this a method. More like carelessness. You can get pregnant from pre-ejaculation, so withdrawling is much different from leaving it in the first place.

there are alot of people who have gotten pregnant...the withdrawal method is not the safest form of "birth control"
For the average couple, the withdrawal method is only 82% effective. This is due to the fact that some men find it difficult to control the point of ejaculation, and accidentally release sperm into the vagina. Accidents like these are particularly pervasive in younger men with little sexual activity. Another reason that this method can fail is because the clear liquid discharged from the Cowper’s gland before ejaculation is rich with sperm cells. Since it is difficult to tell if this pre-ejaculate is leaking out of the penis, the withdrawal method is deceptively unsafe.

Yes and if you haven't already you might want to find a more scientifically proven way to prevent pregnancy. Unless you want to get pregnant, in which case you wouldn't be using the withdrawl method.

My neighbor and her husband thought it was the best method to use for birth control. She already has 2 kids, and didn't supposedly want anymore. But she is now 8 weeks along. So it turns out that its not foolproof by any stretch of the imagination. You need to use condoms or go on the pill. Better yet, BOTH! If you really do not want any babies, then you should abstain completely. Probably not what you want to hear, but you asked for an opinion. Good luck to you, and be safe!

yessssssssssssssssss. my daughter was concieved this way (luckily for me, it wasn't a big deal for us if we got pregnant or not), and i am the product of a one night stand and i always assumed my parents withdrew, but i'm not going to ask them that, lol.
They don't call it the "pull and pray" method for no reason. Pre-*** contains sperm, just in a much lower concentration than semen and there is no way for the man to stop pre-*** from spurting out. This is the least effective method of "birth control" and should not be relied on. ALWAYS use a condom or other form of b.c. if you are not ready to get pregnant.

Yes, a lot of people have. Withdrawal is not a reliable method because some semen can leak out of the man before he is anywhere close to finishing... and thats even IF the man pulls out every time.
The withdrawal method is only about 80 to 82% effective... it's better than nothing, but you should not rely on it as your only form of birth control.

Actually I got pregnant with this method. My daughter is now almost 8 years old. We love her tons. It doesn't work. Try birth control and condoms if you don't want to get pregnant. Plus it will help prevent STDs and such. Good luck

Withdrawal method is definately not safe. Some men pre ejaculate without knowing it during intercourse. Still get the morning after pill if this has happened to you.
