Disagree. It doesn't have an effect on everyone, who we put in office effects us. It's their decisions that effect everyone else.
We may be the most powerful nation in the world, but as you see with the Bush admin. alot of people are not happy with the decisions made by our all mighty government.
The people need to have more say, but it's the people in our nation who need to raise their voices.

Okay that qualifies as the most ridiculous statement I have read all day. Voting is a right of citizens. The rest of the world may not like the choices, but do not and should not have any say in the matter. Such a move would destroy national sovreignty for any country allowing it. China has 2 billion people, America has 380 million, you do the math. The American people would no longer be in control of who runs the country, but would rather have their will circumvented by the world.

As far as elections go, we have to move away from representative government, which generally results in parties controlled by wealthy or powerful interest groups, and into decisions made by everyone, through a computerized parliament of the world.
It would be a bit like Yahoo Answers, but on a larger scale. Everyone could submit proposals and ideas, comment on other people's ideas, and vote on the results. A sort of direct electronic democracy.
Where people don't have access to the internet, public terminals could be installed.

I disagree. Elections in almost all nations that have them have some impact on the world. It would be ludicrous for people not a citizen of a nation to have a say in the government of that nation. Although foreign relations issues are a big part of government in a nation, the issues that effect day tio day life there are equally if not more important.

Disagree. Only American citizens should vote for America!
We don't need the whole world deciding what should happen to us.

Nope. The world is full of idiots, even moreso than America. We have plenty of idiot voters voting themselves 'bread & circuses', thanks. We don't need foreign idiots injecting themselves into our business.
