but I just read in a celeb magazine that they think Charlotte Church is great because she stuffs her face and doesnt go to the gym, I dont know if this is even true, but what sort of magazine encourages no exercise at all? People should be being educated on the benefits of regular exercise, no wonder there are so many people obese!

You are misunderstanding me, im not saying that her size is wrong, just the fact that she does no exercise. And the person that is obese and their dad is also, come back and tell me you think exercise is rubbish when one of you has a heart attack!! And also im not a bag of bones, im a healthy size 12!

Your are right about exercise. I am a size 2 only 5'3" but had to work hard to lose baby fat from 4 children. Your heart will also thank you for not carrying around extra weight and enjoys a good and healthy workout. Magazines shouldn't encourage an eat for all and no exercise if you never gain the weight. What we don't see on the outside could be slowly killing the body on the inside.

Considering that the average size of a woman is 13/14 and not size 0, then yes I think people like Church should be celebrated. She's what real women can relate too, unlike someone who has 0 fat on them. Exercise is beneficial, I'm not saying that, but in reality I would feel more comfortable looking at a person around my size rather than with a sunken face looking horrid, like majority of size 0 women look (but that's just me).

Such media on eating plans and exercise regimes either critise 'skinny celebs' and 'Curvier then average celebs' What annoys me is that theyre are children, yes i said children as young as 8 & 9 that suffer horrific eating disorders because skinny celebs are always exposed. And yes ok, so it is often to critise them, but still, theyre they are showing us what they look like and youngsters often take this into account, and repeat such phrases time and time again such as ' So-and so was ont the TV and i want to look like her/him' which is where many nightmares for parents begin. Yet in the obese side, they say that it is the parents fault for feeding their children too much!!! This will always be a problem, as long as the media are exploiting such celebs. Anyone and everyone should have a healthy eating regime, including treats such as chocolate and chips but in moderation, along side with a moderate exercise plan, which can consist of walking, cycling, skating through to training for a marathon.

You're right that people should be educated about the benefits of eating a balanced diet and taking exercise.

But people should also be educated about the risks of starving yourself in order to look like one of these skinny celebrities.

Are you aware that a young model called Luisel Ramos died recently of heart failure after starving herself for days before the Uruguay Fashion Show?

A few people are naturally very thin, but most very thin people get that way by eating far too little. It's just as unhealthy as overeating.

BTW I think Charlotte Church looks great.

Just to let you know, there is nothing healthy about being a size 12. I am not trying to be rude, but your talking smack about Charlotte not being physically active, but you just admitted that you don't even know if that is true. So what are you talking about???

How can anyone be a size zero - is this new fashion con.
What does it represent - no bust no hips and no bum? I see that the US size is 31.5, 23.5, 34. What is wrong with 36-22-36? What size is that now.

Victoria Beckham can't be a size zero anyway, with her "enhancements" she is different sizes all over body. Wierd!

You can eat whatever you want pretty much, as long as you exercise too! I get my five a day but I eat so much between meals and my portions are huge, but get enough exercise and you're fine! Celebs like Coleen are what we need!
