It is not possible if you kill some cows every day. The sum of any two odd numbers is an even number. Therefore the sum of any four odd numbers is an even number. Therefore the number of cows killed in four days would be an even number, forcing you to kill an even number on the 5th day. You could get rid of them all by killing an odd number on four days, and zero on the 5th day, but zero is not an odd number.
