I worked for JC Penney as a cashier, for several years, during college. It can be exhausting- on your feet for hours, hectic during sales and holidays, and also mind boggling, with crazy customers. But, the employee discount was nice, and if anything, it can show you what you like or dislike in terms of a career (again, demented customers can make you want to cry).
