the world and people individually, have more problems? I've noticed that friends (myself included) seem to have more and more not so nice things happening to them. Mostly illnesses, but also other troubles.
I pray and avoid being down, by talking to God, but my question is, have you noticed this happening , too?
If so, do you think that this is in any way, related to "end times?"

This last century has been the most turbulent in the last couple of millenniums, and it will only get worse. From the world wars and the rapid explosion of our technology, to mutation of the ordinary diseases and our inability to stop the global pollution and not caring for the green-house effect. You are not the only one who can feel that something terrible is going to happen in the next decade or two. However we deserve it.

Yes, it does seem that way. But do you think in these times we're much more apt to share our problems rather than keep them to ourselves? There are constant references to depression on TV, and I'm sure this isn't a new problem but it's being addressed more openly. We feel less ashamed of coming out and saying this or that is happening to us instead of wallowing in our own hidden worlds. Look at all the people we hear of going into drug rehab. No one is without some worries and sharing them somehow make them easier to bear. Besides, look at all the free advice we get! Keep praying for others and for yourself; that's the very best thing we can do.

It's pretty much a sign of the times.
1. Illnesses can be a result of the lack of a properly functioning immune system........too many antibiotics and vaccines.
2. We are in a mobile society and are now being exposed to illnesses that were restricted to a certain area in the past.
3. People, including our politicians, are a selfish breed now-a-days. They are only concerned about themselves and do anything to benefit themselves. Money and power has turned into a god which is worshiped and used to exploit.

I'm not so sure on the end of times thought. But I have noticed in my own life and of those around me that many bad things are happening, and for the most part these are good loving strong people that are now facing hardships they never imagined. I really think I'm a nut for saying this But....
I think that Earth Quake off the Coast on Indonesia caused not only a Tsunami but knocked this tiny ball a bit out of whack and we all are feeling the effects not just Mother earth herself. Who btw has been PMS'ing since the invention of gun powder.

Funny you should ask that because................ we too have been dealing with a whole lot of misfortune. As a Christian you do have to be aware of the world at large and all the natural disasters happening and yes wonder if these are signs of the end times coming into fruition. But more than that prepare ourselves fully to be received by God as we never know when the rapture will come but I pray we are all ready for it.

Good observation! Life does indeed seem to be more complex than in the past but I think people in 1930 (during the depression) must have felt the same way we do now. One thing is certain: the human spirit is indominable and always seems to persevere through tough times. Who knows what all this chaos will lead to. I ponder the same question my self also. no I don't think all of these things happening to you are a portent of end times. did ya ever think that maybe it is because you are growing up and you are not as insulated from life as when you were a child? and yes as people get older they do tend to get illnesses more- pick up germs at work or out in public- arthritis might set in. so no..all this crap has always been around, younger people just didn't notice it before- it is all part of becoming aware

Yes it can be related to the end times.
For it is known that things with time will not get better.
But go from bad to worse.
Wars, Famine, Brother against Brother, Illinesses, Deseases, ect
All we can do is stay right with God,
pray to Him for everything.
For he is the only one that can, stregthen us, keep us safe and provide for all our needs.
