Well, after I talk to my husband and he is in a pessimistic mood I not only shudder, I could pose for that "Scream" painting. I try to be optimistic and see that maybe we can turn our country around but I am also frightened not just for me but my kids and grandkids. It is not the big picture either, it is simple things like health care and pensions for retirement and fuel. Usually if I get on Y!A and answer some silly questions (not this one!) I feel better for awhile.

Not shudder, but I do have an amazing future that I am trying to delay. Knowing of it only makes me behave differently now, trying to get as much in as I possibly can.

I'm looking forward to retiring someday soon, hope to sell my business, still look great at 50 & have my health, so I'd say NO

Not at all, the thought of my future makes me smile and think to myself "I can't wait!" ~ meaning that I'm hopeful and excited for the future :)

Not for me - more for my children and what they will have to grow up in. I guess the only thing you can do is hope for the best.

No. People should not be scared of death. It will happen no matter what you will do so you might as well live your life and not think about it.

I am afraid of ending up old, all alone and with too many cats.
