Umm... I think it would shrink if you put it in the washer on a really high temperature, but then it might get too small.

Wash it a few times at 90 degrees then give it a good hour in the tumble dryer

Wash it at a really high temperature and then put it in the tumble. If not go get a new one that fits - less work all round!

here is a ridiculous tip for you: wet it while wearing it eg, wear it during a rainstorm and then take it off after it is thouroughly wet as the water will shrink it fit your exact bodysize. it will work, but why not simply buy something that fits and do a good deed and donate that one to charity.

All depends on what it is made of. Wool shrinks real good(tiny) fleece, polyester,man made stuff not so good.
