Since I had my fist child at the ripe old age of not quiet 16 half of me is inclined to say i would have waited. But the other half of me knows that if i did then i wouldnt have had the life experience that i have. I sometimes wish that i could have led the life of a normal teenager but i dont think it could have been any other way for me. My son was my wake up call. With out him I wouldnt be here now, so if i did wait i might not have made it this far. but to answer yes i still would have had my kids i love them too much to think about a life without them at all.

That's a good question. I would still have children, but I would wait until I was more prepared to care for them. I was 20 and thought I was ready when I had my first one. I was far from ready. I'd give myself a little more time to grow up before I had kids, if I could do it over.

Absolutely! My daughters are my very being. My life was a nothingness, an empty void, that has been joyously filled with laughter and love. Love is in purest form with our children. To have the love of a child is like having all the riches in the world... I can not imagine one single moment with out the bright eyes and silly faces. Everything about being a parent to me is worth is weight in gold. I am poor but rich in love!

Yes, children are an extension of yourself. They provide you with so much happiness. Of course there is heartache involved, too. To watch them grow, share their joy, beyond compare. When my son stood in the nursery after his baby girl was born he literally glowed. Behind dark sun glasses tears rolled down my cheeks, my heart welled up with pride. I had never seen him so in awe. The moment the most memorable of my life, completely priceless. We looked at each other no words spoken and smiled, that said it all. That was one month before he was killed in a car wreck. I would not trade that moment in time for all the gold in the world. Have children, embrase them, love them, share the joy of life you won't be sorry.

Honestly... since hind site is 20/20... I would still have both my sons- but they would have had a different father! Plus I would have waited until I was at least until I was in my 30's instead of my 20's so I could have enjoyed my youth a little longer but I still would want the same two wonderful sons I was blessed with even though I wasted 21 years with their cheating abusive father!
