Arms industry? Think how much money we spend on making arms, buying them?
The army - keeps all the feckless young idiots of the streets. (including my own son.)
The media - how sad is it to see those coffins coming home. Also, keeps silly political stories out of the news.
And when we think we have right onour side, we think the sacrifice is worth it. Like the Second World War. Would there be any Jews left in the world if we hadn't stepped in.
The true horror of war is something most of us have to learn. And then again, we'd all be under the jackboot if we hadn't gone to war.

Nice song but meanlingless. War is good for stopping tyranny, fighting oppression. Democracy is an abberation in history, as is peace. .
