Carlos Boozer

Which of these are bandwagonish and which are truely having breakout/comeback seasons? Who did I leave out?

We usually do predictions at work and my prediction for MIP was Charlie V. So far this season, the guy has been impressive and regardless of what other people think, Bobby Simmons' return will not drastically affect Charlie's numbers. Charlie V balls for real and he could do that on ANY team!

With KAJ as his personal mentor, Andrew Bynum can do nothing but get BETTER! His continued improvement depends on Kobe's willingness to trust his teammates. In last night's win against the T-Wolves, I don't think Kobe took a shot in the fourth and only had seven attempts for the game. He's letting these guys fend for themselves and it'll be great for the team in the long run. Andrew is head and shoulders better than Mihm and Brown at this point so he will ultimately get the nod.

Kevin Martin is definitely looking more confident in his role. He should have a great season.

Carlos Boozer is the kind of guy I'd love to have on my team. He does more with least kinda like a stronger Marion. At the end of the season, he'll be at 18 and 12 easily! He just needs to play some DEFENSE.

Luke Walton is quietly earning some respect in the league. Dude looks more comfortable and confident in his game. I think all of his current numbers are career bests. He's a very smart ball player, don't sleep on him. I do think Brown's return will alter his numbers a bit though.

CHARLIE V - BREAKOUT PLAYER OF THE YEAR!!!

Carlos is having a breakout season and could realistically run for mvp if he can keep this up. Big if. Unless he gets injured again this will definitely be a breakout year.

Andrew Bynum is having a genuine breakout year because the Laker frontcourt has cleared up due to injuries. Look for is numbers to drop a bit once Brown and Mihm get back.

Kevin Martin could definitely have a great year. He is a great shooter. Nuff said.

Zach Randolph will probably not keep this up.

Charlie V will probably have his ups and down this season but he will definitely be better.

Adrew Bynum will definitely have a break out season. Carlos Boozer will have his regular sub par to par season. Nothing will be great about his season. Zach Randolph is a very good player but he has no team which means he has to be a star and put 25 pts and snatch down 12 boards. I really don't know about Charlie Villanueva because he hasn't been mentioned too much this season so far. The player that I think will be great and have an all star season is Dwight Howard of the Orlando Magic

Way too early to tell for any of those players. So far Boozer and Randolph have been great, but Boozer is injury prone. Bynum is playing very well for a sophmore player, but the biggest question is what's going to happen once Chris Mihm and Kwame Brown come back?

If you're talking about come backs how about Larry Hughes? He missed most of last season and can finally take the role of being Lebron's Scottie Pippen. There's also Quentin Richardson, always a great player but didn't break the 20 point mark once last year and now he's averaging over that.

Does Brandon Roy count?

I dont think Zach Randolph will keep his stats up.. and Boozer is just a solid player.. he's always been one... Kevin Martin is breaking out this season.. and we will probably see Villanueva and Bynum become a really solid players in the future.. also.. I think Josh Smith should blossom this year in the NBA.. he has a lot of talent
