Everyone knew that gas went down so they could keep their people in office and that it didnt matter which party won the gas prices will be going back up.The fact is the Republicans help the oil companies by kicking back corporate welfare and they planned on helping them any way they could.

Speculators know that Dem policy will hamper competition and prevent market equilibrium from being established. Speculators, not Big Oil, drive volatile pump prices.

The latest "reasoning" I heard is that in the global economy, the "other" gas companies haven't done anything to increase their productivity even though the demand is higher around the world. Personally I beleive it's just big business manipulation to keep those profits raging.........

republicans were probly promising kickbacks of some sort, i sorta think most ppl knew this was not possible in longterm so it bit silly really
now that dems have house and senate then there is no chance of any republican policies getting thru so that chance s gone now

the 1st thing Dems do is to raise taxes to fund social programs. buy now be4 it goes up even more because of higher taxes
